Job Description / Responsibility
- Develop, design and adapt nutrition specific and nutrition sensitive messages targeted to adolescent including development of appropriate and effective job aids, IEC materials, games/ activities, integrated modules, etc.
- Provide on job training and orientation to staffs and partners on delivering nutrition interventions, including dietary promotion, anemia screening and micronutrient supplementation
- Pilot models for nutrition support for adolescent and mothers in urban areas for future replication and scale-up
- Document lessons learned and best practices
- Act as focal point for interventions from other sectors and assist to monitoring and reporting on child protection, WASH, HIV, health, etc.
- Collaborate and work with UNICEF nutrition and child protection team, relevant stakeholders and government authorities
- Participate in relevant nutrition mechanisms
- Collect research, studies and other country experiences on adolescent nutrition to help guide evidence based strategies
- Support scale-up of adolescent nutrition interventions in other areas when required
- Monitor result and achievements for nutrition and related behavioral outcomes of adolescent
- Ensure adequate planning, forecasting and utilization of nutrition supplies and materials
- Develop planning and monitoring tools for adolescent nutrition
- Identify and address bottlenecks for smooth delivery of targeted nutrition interventions to adolescent
- Report on quarterly progress, achievements and targets
- Organise and conduct field visit with partners and stakeholders

Educational Requirements

Masters in any discipline
from any recognized university with second class/ division or equivalent
GPA/ CGPA in all academic examination
Experience Requirements
- At least 3 year(s)

- Age At most 40 year(s)
- Only females are allowed to apply.
- Knowledge of adolescent empowerment programme
- Strong communication and advocacy skill
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skill both in English and Bengali
- Ability to work with different partners and stakeholders
- Experience to work with an NGO in urban areas will be preferred
